Stress Relief

… that’s what the family cat gives me. She’s actually just a kitten, about four months old. I found her mewing, frightened and hungry under my bed last summer. The mother must have gone in through an open window. I kept it ajar for a few days hoping she’d be back, but never did. Can I call her a bitch for that?

Anyway, we were able to sustain her with milk and left-overs… now she only eats fish, corned beef, and white bread. She skips the rice.

It just dawned on me that she could be albino… I hope she isn’t, and I don’t believe she is. When not playing catfights with me, or scratching the laminate off the furniture, she loves to laze around in a small sunny spot at the back porch. Which albinos must not be allowed to do, for the risk of developing cancer. She also has blue eyes, and I read most of them are deaf. So far, she responds when called by name. Ming-ming, as wanted by the boss of the house, my nephew.

I don’t know what else to look for, what to expect, how to properly care for her… maybe I should consult a vet? Ang taray ah! Pusang gala!? May pa-vet vet pa?

  • oh. cats.

unfortunately, i’m allergic. they kinda trigger my asthma. hehe

yeah! initially, i thought i was allergic, too. i was having a long standing rhinitis during the first few weeks we had her, and the blame was on the poor kitten. but then eventually, we were able to rule her out.

  • She looks so immaculately regal. Parang rabbit. Haha.

hehe… the pictures don’t do justice to how pretty she actually is. :-)
